These photos where taken of the remnants of the "new" Zabludow Jewish Cemetery which is located on the Southwest edge of town by the road to Solniki. There was also an "old" cemetery but nothing remains of it today. To my knowledge these are the only viable remains of 400 years of Jewish Civilization in Zabludow. Based on information in the Zabludow Yizkor (memorial) book it's likely that my great uncle Birshe Bartnovski was taken here to be buried after he was shot dead by the Germans on the first or second day they entered Zabludow in June of 1941. My grandfather, great grandparents, and my fathers brother who died in the 1918 influenza were all known to be buried here.
