The Zabludow Yizkor Book Committee was formed in Buenos Aires Argentina. It was a ten year effort on the part of the committee to produce the 500 page Yizkor Book. Many of the Committee members made great personal sacrifices in this effort. Above are their pictures and names. Honor their memory! Their product is widely considered to be among the most impressive of the hundreds of Yizkor books published. The Zabludow Yizkor Book contains extremely valuable information regarding the 400 year history and culture of the Jews of Zabludow, including a very detailed and moving account by the survivors regarding what happened in Zabludow during the Holocaust period . It was quite natural for the survivor generation to publish this book in Yiddish. Unfortunately this fact renders the book accessible only to a very small sample of the community of people who may have a strong interest in the wealth of information within it's pages. In 1987 a large portion of the original Yizkor book was published in Israel. This was called "Chosen Pages from the Yizkor Book", and was published in Hebrew. This book is published on this website in English, in it's entirety.
