Sarah Becker's husband Isadore Becker was born Isadore Punya in Zabludow. His name became Isadore Becker at Ellis Island. Machoel Punya had siblings Abram, Ida, Shandle, Mary, and Hana. All but Hana came to America. Hana married Lazar Nurzec. Hana died young in 1917, and her husband was murdered by the Germans in 1942. The man (in the suite) with Sarah Becker is Shmuel Nurzec the son of Hana and Lazar Nurzec. Shmuel and a brother left Sokoly in the mid 1930, and eventually made their way to America. They setteled in Larado, Texas, and took the family name Norton. The second man in the photo is unidentified.
